If I disconnect all other USB devices, and set my Mac to boot from the first partition and not mount any more volumes, I can get the Zumo to connect to Basecamp and transfer to/from the device. I also have two external drives, one for Media and one for backup. I have two SSD drives in my Mac and one is partitioned into two areas, so when booted it appears that I have three hard drives. Second, Garmin Basecamp is not compatible with all Garmin GPS devices. If you are using a Mac, you may need to use a third-party software application to access all of the features of Garmin Basecamp. First, Garmin Basecamp is designed for use with Windows computers. The Zumo has to be the second or third mounted device. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. After spending 6 hours trying to load a simple route on to the Zumo, I have a few observations. Would anyone be able to provide a sequence for that? Again, I've followed the steps in Basecamp. The XT does now get recognized by Basecamp, after using the six steps noted in a previous response, but cannot seem to get routes to the XT consistently. the separate segments of the new practice route show up under Saved!
